Marsh Wren

It was a glorious morning at the Big Bend Wildlife Management Area today. I had a work assignment at the Jena Unit, which is near Steinhatchee a small quaint fishing village. I arrived early, about 30 minutes before sunrise and enjoyed listening to the sounds of the saltmarsh and forest. Clapper Rails, Common Yellowthroats and fussy Marsh Wrens kept me company as the sun climbed above the horizon. It was a great day at the office!
