Monarch Tagging

Every fall for the past several years, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission biologist David Cook has been leading a Monarch tagging project at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. We look forward to it every year. Today was the first tagging outing of the fall and we had a wonderful time. About 30 Monarchs were captured, tagged and released! Visit my Flickr site to see more pictures from today’s outing.
