Limpkins weren’t all that easy to find in the city when I arrived here from England 14 years ago. Back then, Lake Munson was the most reliable site to spot one. In 2017, you can find them just about any place where there is water, and their favorite food, the apple snail. Crowder Road Landing on Lake Jackson is my favorite place to watch this unique bird. Wanna go see a Limpkin? You can explore eBird to find recent sightings of them in Tallahassee. Good luck!
